WHAT DO YOU SEE?

"What do you see?" is about communication between viewer and artwork and how people use their senses to perceive artworks. The woven piece was designed particularly to be perceived by deaf-blind people. They can touch it in order to go through a more engaging art experience. Earphones find little use for people with hearing loss. Here they become mediators and find a specific role by allowing the people with visual impairment to feel what is "written" on the object. "Now I can see" is embedded using braille code.
